CASE STUDY: A Stockholm love story!

This is a story about a creative city, its amazing people, and LOVE.

Freshmind’s mission has always been to collaborate with Stockholm and enrich the experiences of both its residents and visitors alike. From turning the city’s central metro station into a dancefloor, to closing off the inner city to showcase for a series of art and performance installments, each venture has been met warmly by locals and tourists alike, fueling our love pushing our ideas to the next level.

With a Royal Wedding on the horizon, we saw an opportunity to spread the love for Sweden’s creative exploits whilst celebrating a moment of huge national pride. Every love story is different, and its experience is wholly personal. We wanted to help Stockholm fall in love with the music, art, nature, and architecture that fills its streets.

We identified artists and performers across the board of Stockholm’s rich creative tapestry, inviting its up-and-coming talents to take center stage in their city for a deserving moment in the spotlight. Tapping into numerous disciplines, subgenres, and formats, it was not only a chance for the capital’s budding creative stars to take center stage in the city center, but for Stockholm to fall in love with a new generation of talent.

To the backdrop of Strömpartteren, a unique spot nestled between the Royal Castle, the Royal Opera, and the Swedish Houses of Parliament, our two-week multi-touch marketing campaign combined digital and physical space to bring hundreds of thousands of people into a unique celebration of love, creativity, and the city that so seamlessly connects them. Like any truly special story, the result was magical. With more than 70 organizers, domestic and international artists, DJ and performers alike engaged over the fortnight, we welcomed everyone from Avicii, Eric Prydz and Basement Jaxx to Miike Snow, Yelle and Girls Love DJs.

A good love story isn’t just reserved for couples. After all, ours involved hundreds of thousands of beautiful people, connected in the name of art, creative culture, and romance.

Art hasn’t always been available to everyone. Through societal, cultural and technological change, it's easier than ever for the public to connect with visual artists across the world. Freshmind has always been drawn to projects that open doors, close gaps, and foster collaboration.

Alongside Absolut Art, we have worked consistently to develop concepts, communication strategies and innovative activations across the world with the goal of connecting amazing artists with people. Discovering art that speaks to your heart has never been easier, whether you’re a serious collector or aspiring student alike.

Our collaboration to date has seen us engage and support more than 90 artists worldwide, drawing talents from Stockholm, Los Angeles, Berlin, and Havana.

CASE STUDY: BÖRSHAJEN: From ‘f**k up’ to ‘f**k off’ finances

Despite its known affluence, less than 6 million Swedish citizens do not have a long-term savings plan in place. In collaboration with Börshajen, we invited a series of financial advisors and speakers to attend publicly hosted forums and events, educating attendees on practical financial development and motivating people to invest in their futures and work towards economic freedom.

Digital media is a crowded space, and everyone is trying to sell us something. Mobile operator Halebop is the nine-time winner of the Quality Index award for most satisfied customers. We have worked closely on building and activating brand concepts and campaigns, developed partnerships between artists, ambassadors, events, and the brand, and further assisted their programming efforts throughout our partnership.

Through multi-touch marketing activations, customers find the Halebop brand through both physical and digital activations. Their ability to connect does rely on the digital space, but is optimized within that space to make the brand visible and connected with both existing and potential customers.

We have paired the above with a collaborative, transparent and open stream of collaboration and communication, allowing us to work alongside Halebop consistently and create a dynamic customer experiences along the way.
